It sells subcompact and compact tractors, front end loaders, backhoes, mower decks and other tractor attachments for owners at online auction. Owners drop the tractor off, running or not, and are paid within 15 days after the auction closes. Seller commission is 5% of the winning bid; buyers pay a 10% buyer's premium. No upfront cost. Over 500 registered bidders in Southwest Louisiana and 1,000+ Facebook followers. Focus: residential subcompact and compact tractors owned by homeowners. 3. The company photographs and lists it, answers buyer questions, runs the online auction, collects payment and handles buyer pickup.
4. The owner is paid within 15 days after the auction closes. Tractors can sell in as little as 45 days from drop-off.

Southern Auction Company is a consignment auction company. It does not buy tractors outright. Owners can ask about a reserve (minimum price).
